Smart Digital Torque Wrenches
Enables both improvement of fastening quality and cost reduction. Wide effective range reduces the number of wrenches. Up to 10 sequences can be set on the wrench body. The set value automatically changes sequentially for accurate tightening at the target torque. The management of torque and angle enables double fastening prevention. It also has a screw tightening inspection function, and error-prevention fastening judgment for axial force control is possible. Two-way communication enables electronic settings changes, data collection, and automation of fastening data management.
Features
Double-Fastening Prevention Function
Smart Digital Torque Wrench prevents double-fastening by simultaneously monitoring torque and angle. If a screw is fastened twice, it is not counted up and the operator is notified with light, sound, and vibration.
It also has a "screw tightening inspection function" that checks for looseness of screws that have been fastened. This function retightens bolts that have already been tightened, and makes a record when the torque wrench turns by more than the allowable amount. If it turns by more than the set amount expected to reach the specified torque, a buzzer sounds to alert the operator. If the rotation angle of the bolt during tightening is insufficient due to galling (seizure), this can also be detected when increasing the torque.
Wirelessly Set Electronic Preset Values
Equipped with ZigBee® wireless data communication capability with a communication distance of approximately 30 to 60 meters. Up to 255 units can be set for one base unit, and 25 units can be connected simultaneously. A notification signal is sent wirelessly the moment the set torque is reached.
Reduced Number of Wrenches and Lighter Weight
Wide effective range and interchangeable heads for ratchet wrenches, spanners, and closed-end wrenches make it economical to reduce the number of wrenches. It covers the entire range with 10% to 3% accuracy of the maximum torque. Furthermore, the weight has been reduced to 1/2 to 1/3 that of mechanical torque wrenches.
Can be Used as a Torque Angle Meter
Continuous real-time reception of torque and angle data. Torque angle graphs can be displayed on a PC, making it useful as a torque angle meter.

Fastening torque upper and lower limits
Optionally you can set lower and upper limits for fastening torque. And when the lower limit is exceeded, a vibration, buzzer or LED lamp alerts the user to its completion. It also always notifies the user of an abnormality when the upper limit of fastening is detected, when double-fastening is detected, or when loosening of screws is detected.

Angle wrench function
Axial force can be managed by the rotation angle method. The torque wrench starts measuring the angle when it detects the snag torque after starting to fasten. This function provides judgement and management by angle.
- Application: Axial force management
- If tightening with a toque wrench before switching over to an angle wrench, only one DPW is needed. Set the target torque to the snag torque value, then determine the set angle and turning angle.
