6D Fastening Position Detection System

This system enables fastening within a defined position range by checking the position of the fastening tool with a camera and measuring the 6-DOF position (X,Y,Z) against the image. Tool posture measurement prevents false detection even when nutrunners are used at an angle in adjacent positions.

High-precision

Position correction enables highly accurate position detection of ±10 mm at the socket tip position.
*Accurate for a measurement area of 1 m2 at a distance of 1 m between the measurement position and the camera. Varies depending on conditions such as distance and measurement area.

Supports Multiple Models

The "X", "Y", "Z", and inclination values can be set for each fastening position, and the fastening conditions can be changed. Up to 64 positions can be set per model, and 64 models can be selected.

Hassle-free Installation and Start-up

Since a single camera can measure three-dimensional positions, it eliminates the space and labor required to install multiple cameras. Pre-calibration also reduces the time required for start-up work on site.

Two Cameras Connectable

If the measurement area is insufficient with one camera or there are blind spots, two cameras can be connected for position detection.

Simplified Setup and Selection

The LCD panel on the vision controller allows easy position setting and program selection.

Supports Many Interfaces

The vision controller can be connected to many external interfaces. There are 8 inputs and 8 outputs each, corresponding to sink and source. Options allow for field networks such as CC-LINK, EtherNet/IP, and CC-LINK IE.
