Automated Welding Line Systems
In 1972, Sanyo Machine Works developed the first Gate Line System in Japan, a small-lot-variety production line for body assembly, and successfully established the foundation of the current automatic welding system. We propose a wide range of engineering solutions that promise great investment returns by making the body welding lines cover the subassembly line (door, roof, sidebody, underbody, etc.) through to the main body line, as well as the hemming line, while fully utilizing our 3D simulation technique to continue creating new valuable products.

To propose automatic welding lines suitable for the future, we look at welding and hemming equipment from a macro perspective, from sub-assembly lines such as doors and underbody to main body lines.

Providing Pioneering Welding Equipment to the Automotive Industry
Sanyo Machine Works started out making welding jigs and gauges. We have always provided equipment which was ahead of its time, such as the first Gate Line System in Japan and an ALC for small-lot-variety production.
Expanding our Production Bases to Provide Equipment Faster
From 1982, Sanyo Machine Works established new plants in Canada and the U.S. This expansion allowed us to directly provide our "Experience", "Technology", and "Products" to customers in the U.S. We have a solid track record of achievements, including being selected as a "Simultaneous Engineering" partner for new vehicle development by an overseas automobile manufacturer, where we were responsible for everything from concept study to design and manufacturing.
