Automatic Assembly
Line Systems
Sanyo Machine Works has devoted itself to developing automatic assembly line systems since the early 1960's. Our aim is to reduce labor as well as to achieve consistent high quality, high productivity, and the flexibility to respond to small-lot-variety-production. Having started with a study of individual assembly processes and examining measuring inspection functions, operability, mistake proofing, etc., Sanyo Machine Works has produced a variety of systems that meet the specifications of each user.
Features
Meeting all the needs of
"Automatic Assembly Lines"
We are known as "Sanyo of Systems" because we can produce complete production line systems that integrate both hardware and software. We can flexibly respond to our customers' needs, from large projects which involve building new production locations and assembly lines, to small assembly machines that keep manufacturing costs low.
Optimal design based on 3D simulation
Using the CAE simulation approach, Sanyo Machine Works performs accurate and optimal design to create CAD data. From this CAD data, the optimal CAM data is automatically programmed and sent to the latest model NC machine for precision machining.
Innovative Conveyor System
"SANYO FRICTION ROLLER CONVEYOR"
Our friction roller conveyor system uses a bevel gear drive system, which has many superior features compared to the conventional chain drive system. This achieves stable operation over a long period of time, high safety, and low noise in consideration of the environment.
- Flexibility in line configuration
- All conveyor components are standardized. This allows lines to be extended, shortened, or modified in a modular system. In addition, the conveyor speed can be changed for each section.
- Maintenance free
- Lubrication is not required, due to the oil-impregnated type of bevel gears. A dustproof cover also prevents ingress of foreign matter.
Delivery Record
High quality systems created by advanced technologies in "Control", "Measurement" and "Information Management".
We have a proven track record of producing a wide variety of assembly line systems, armed with advanced technology and expertise cultivated through our extensive experience. It spans a broad range of fields, including large assembly line unit assembly systems for automotive motors in EVs and HEVs, engines and transmissions, and decking systems for engines and powertrains, as well as small parts assembly for electrical appliances.
- Motor Assembly Line / Engine Assembly Line
- For Automotive Manufacturers not only in Japan but also in the United States, Europe and Asia, we have produced many automatic assembly lines for various types of motors (for EV and HEV) and engines. We have produced as many as 150 systems.
- Compressor Assembly Line
- We have produced more than 80 systems for use in the assembly lines of rotary, scroll, swash plate, and other types of compressors used in automotive air conditioners and room air conditioners. We have also produced and supplied many dedicated assembly machines and stand-alone equipment for installation in each line.
Leveraged our many years of experience and expertise to enter the aircraft industry.
We have developed and manufactured aircraft assembly systems in a number not seen in other companies. These include large panel joining systems, and Wing to Body assembly systems, that utilize servos with synchronous control of over 30 axes. We are building relationships of trust as an ideal partner to manufacturers in the aircraft assembly industry.
Basic Technology
Automatic Assembly is a technology that cannot be achieved by merely combining existing technologies. It requires bringing together a variety of high-quality basic technologies with a wealth of know-how based on many years of experience. We use this technology to produce automatic assembly systems specialized for your products.
